much has happened over the past few months - here's the highlighs.

-the government music radio show has changed its name to "underground communique". to get in touch with its host, justin #2, you can e-mail him at justin2@governmentmusic.com

-we hae two new releases: The Killing Tree "Bury Me At Make-Out Creek" and Mexican Cheerleader self-titled. These are the debut releases from both of these fine Chicago acts. You can purchase them, as well as all other government music releases, through redlinedistribution.com

-justin #2 has left government music. we are sad to see him go, but it is for the best. he is starting his own label - called "underground communique" and will continue to host the radio show. we wish him the best.

-we have a new partner in government music - rebecca! in addition to helping us plan our new projects, she also runs her own vegan baking business - www.vegan-desserts.com. yummy.

-as usual, i've saved the biggest for last. we are planning on releasing a government music zine. issue one will be out in early december 2002. more on this later.

as you can tell, things have been a bit crazy. no new releases are planned right now, the zine and our current discs are taking up all of our time. thanks for the support and interest.

cheers,
-justin government
